Are all car stereos the same size?

Definitely not. Our single DIN radios have a very small display for different information such as song, artist, date, time, radio station, etc. Our double DIN units start at a 6.2-inch screen and go up to an 8-inch screen.

How are car stereos measured?

The screen size determines the size of the radio. For double DIN units the total size of the radio will always be the same but the border along the edge shrinks and the screen size grows.

Can any radio fit in my car?

Most cars can fit all aftermarket radios other then special models make for specific cars. There are exceptions to this rule but as a general guideline almost all radios will fit in all cars.

How do various standard radio sizes different makes & models?

As far as screen size usually the smallest screen size across double DIN units is 6 inches and the biggest screen size is 7 inches. There are a few specialty radios that can reach up to 10 inches; these are made for specific models of cars.
